Please tell me... do these not look like oranges?!
Nope, they're GRAPEFRUITS. The worst part is, I'm pretty sure I bought the exact same "grapefruits" that I did on Saturday. These are some orange grapefruits.
Until I cut it open...
When I went back to the grocery store today in the hopes or purchasing actual oranges, I decided to pick up a normal-looking grapefruit for comparison.
One of these things is not like the other...
What do you think that strange fruit in the middle looks like? Yeah. Me too.
Oh boy, the taper madness must be setting in... clearly I have too much time on my hands.

Hmmmm...Me thinks the farmer got his fruits a little too close together resulting in a Maury-style fruit warranting a paternity test..

we cut fruit at the bar I work at for drink garnishes, and we accidentally had the orange grapefruits once too! It's a mystery!
It does look at oranges but I've seen weirder looking grapefruit.

That is a very orange-colored grapefruit. But it kind of has the shape of a grapefruit.

I love Cara Cara oranges, and their flesh is pink/red like grapefruit but definitely tastes like orange.
