"Rub Club"

I just realized, two days later, that there was a rather interesting typo in Thursday's post. I mentioned running 11K with "Rub Club" instead of, of course, Run Club. On that note, has anyone ever been involved with a "Rub Club"? Hmmmm, I wonder what types activities that would involve? :/ (I've already made the correction, so don't go looking for it now.)

In non-rub news, I ran a quick 10K over lunch on Thursday since I knew I would be busy with our end-of-clinic activities that evening. Speaking of which, it was great! It's always fun to see everyone in non-running attire and we had a fantastic time catching up, sharing stories and discussing plans for the next season.

Yesterday after work, I went out for a little 5K before to start the weekend. It was a hot one.

Next up - 30K + pool party tomorrow! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.

So exciting you are coming to Seattle! Welcome!! You can get Builders Bars at Safeway and QFC grocery stores that I know of. They are my favorite before a run or as a meal replacement! Hopefully you will get good weather while out here, it's so sunny today! Let me know if you need any ideas of places to go and see while here! :)

Hahah. I'm always making typos, sad since I do a lot of writing as a part-time jobbie. I think my fingers get ahead of my thoughts and the two never are in sync. Have fun with th 30K and the pool party :)!!

I use public transit in Boston, i would say that classifies as a rub club...altho i'm not sure i really want to be a member...

Yeah, hearing stories about my husband's friend who frequents the "rub and tug" parlors in NYC crack me up!

I have to admit my first thought when I saw the title of this post was "chub rub". It must just be because it's all to familiar to me. ;) I bet there are a lot of us in that club! haha!

I didn't notice the typo, but with your title, I was expecting a post about chafing!

On the Skin MD thing -- if you signed up for their newsletter, you're entered. That was their mandatory entry. Plus, you'll get the extras for following, etc. Sorry it was confusing!!

I can't get over the awesome planning that went into the 30K + pool party idea! :) After *every* run I now think - It would be AWESOME to jump in a pool...

Nooo I think you were right with the "Rub" club-- my inner thighs can attest to that!! :)

True or Fals-- if I make you a "Team Jacob" T-shirt to go with my "Team Edward" you will wear it? Hahahhaa. Ok what if it's just a long sleeve warm up? I'm also thinking of just making a shirt for the race with an iron on "Twilight" and a "will run for Edward" on the back-- isss that sick??

hehe Happy Monday!
