I ran a marathon. It defined my year and has in many ways defined me as a person. 2008 will always be the year that I became a marathoner.
There were several other races and experiences along the way, but I'll save that for my long-form review closer to the end of the year.

I can relate to well. My year was 2007.
That's wonderful. I felt the same way after I ran my first marathon last year. Can't wait to see what 2009 holds for you.

2002 was that year for me.... I ran 3 halfs and my first full that year..... I was so much younger and thinner too.... =)
