Fun (free!) stuff

I've been pretty fortunate here in bloggy-land lately and have won a few sweet prizes.

***

I won a copy of Running from the Devil through a recent Runners' Lounge Giveaway.

I just cracked it open last night and love it so far. Review coming soon! (In the meantime, you can see what joyRuN had to say about it here.)

***

Then I found out that I won Running Through Life's Giveaway for Exercise Anywhere Cards.

The pocket-sized cards are super fun and make for a great on-the-spot workout when I don't have a lot of time.

***

Most recently, I won a copy of Bobby Flay's Burgers, Fries & Shakes from Everyday Food and Drinks.

I haven't received it yet, but I love homemade burgers and I can't wait to see what kind of yummy ideas I'll find.

***

And last but not least, the ladies behind Trials of Training, Secrets of a Running Mom and Jen's Runnings and Ramblings have all generously offered me the One Lovely Blog Award. Thank you, and back at ya!

There are just two simple rules attached to the acceptance of this award:

1. Post the award on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award, and his or her blog link.

2. Pass the award to other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

It is my privilege to bestow this award upon just a few of the great blogs that I've recently started reading:

Mel Tries to Run (which should really be changed to Mel Runs) - Mel is a spunky, witty journalist/broadcaster and relatively new runner from down-under.

Common Objects and Everyday Events - Lacey's posts and comments are always full of enthusiasm and she never fails to put a smile on my face.

Single Track Runner - Jo Lynn is an ultra-runner who always has great photos and stories from her time on the trails.
You should check them out if you haven't already, along with all the other awesome blogs listed to the right. ~~>

Speaking of FREE STUFF, the awesome Recovery Sock people were kind enough to send me a pair. So far I love them, but I can't wait to put them to the test after my next long run. Full review coming soon.

The summer marathon clinic starts tonight! More on that tomorrow.
