This morning I dropped hubby off at the airport and he'll be spending the next ~36 hours traveling to beautiful New Caledonia off the coast of Australia.
It's going to be a long four weeks in this big empty house.

ugh four weeks! i hope you find plenty of things to keep you busy. i can only imagine how hard it would be to be away from him for so long, and especially so far away! at least you'll have lots of time for running? :)
:-(
We'll keep you company!
I'm sorry. hang in there, girlfriend. I'm sure he'll be missing you too.
it'll go by fast... you'll see. lemme know if you need anything or even just some company! :)
Four Weeks! He'll be back soon, don't worry, but man, he's going to a wonderful looking place, I'm jealous! :(
4 weeks!!!!! I hope he brings back some serious bling for being gone so long! Poor thing, I feel bad for him having to go to such crappy location.
btw, i like the new banner!
I like the new banner, too!
Maybe you'll just have to post twice a day to keep busy!
Great banner....
I wish I were running where that picture was taken. It is butt freezing cold here.
I know I shouldn't torture you with such thoughts, but I think you need to visit him for at least a week while he's there!! :)
Australia is so on my Bucket List. What an amazing pic.
So beautiful! I wonder what kind of races they have there!
He better bring you home some presents!
Stay warm!
Picked up my Burlington stuff-no timing chip--wondering if it is a timed race.
Four weeks of sunshine and warmer temps! I hate him...........
oh why didn't you tell me, I would have curled up in his suitcase! anything besides this frigid weather sounds great!
The race organizer e-mailed me back to say timing chips are handed out on race day--that's perfect, as if it is this cold or it snows, then I can decide not go without having to mail back the chip---and I already have the tartan pyjamas that came with the entry fee.
Wow. That beautiful beach can ease the pain of the separation a bit. Hang in there and make the most of your 4 weeks.
That will be fun for him! Girl, if you feel lonely blog here & we'll be here for ya!
4 weeks is a long time to be away from your hubby.
