The day after

My legs (and arms and abs and butt and shoulders) were not pleased with me after yesterday's double whammy, especially not when I dragged them out for 21K/13mi. I was really dragging a$$ through the second half, but got it done with the help of good friends urging me on. I'm thinking this is excellent training for Goofy.

In other weekend news, we went to our local Santa Claus parade last night and managed to squeeze in a couple of walking miles (yay HBBC points!). This afternoon we went to the movies to see New Moon again (my second time, hubby's first) and then watched another movie at home. A relaxing afternoon is just what I needed. Time to start thinking about dinner.

Hope you all had a great weekend! (Do I really have to go back to work already tomorrow?)

HBBC Update

Saturday:
1h Bootcamp = 4 pts
1h Spin class = 4 pts
walk 2mi = 2 pts
F/V = 1 pt

Sunday:
run 13mi = 13 pts
F/V - working on it

way to go marlene!!!!! i am breaking a sweat just reading your posts :) hehehe. i've actually been exactly the opposite-- read, zero activity, but i've found that the slow down has helped me tremendously with my eating habits. being home and sleeping 10+ hrs and being sick and just sort of boiling life down to simple sitting and resting... kind of boring at times but i tried to find the zen in it :) hopefully i'll be back rocking the workouts like you soon!! but until then, ... i know where to get a pump up reading about it :)

Great job with the HBBC. I'm so bummed I don't belong to a gym right now, it's going to be hard to rack up all the points like I did last year. But I'm going to stick with it...

Nice work -- that will definitely help for Goofy!

I'm so behind on blogs so I didn't make it to comment on Friday! If you don't mind, I'm going to co-opt your cans for comments and run it on my site, too. I'll start this Friday. It is such an awesome, awesome idea.
