Under the influence...

Yesterday I made a decision that was clearly influenced by post-marathon adrenaline: I registered for Ironman 70.3 Muskoka. [September 9, 2012]

Subaru Ironman 70.3 Muskoka takes place in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, located just 90 minutes from Toronto. The 1-loop swim will take place in picturesque, Peninsula Lake. The 1-loop bike course circles Lake of Bays. The run will take you through Muskoka County, past pink granite rock and cascading waterfalls.

Ironman offered up a sweet $50-off deal for one week only and myself as well as a handful of friends took advantage. There will be no shortage of company during training and on race day!

Boston, a Half Ironman and Chicago for my 30th Birthday... 2012 is going to be EPIC!

Race report is coming soon, I promise!!

So, now you're blaming a marathon for taking you do the dark side? Oh, you've come a long ways. ;)

Awesome!

PS: you volunteering at a full ironman next year? I hear it's the best way to secure a spot for the following year...

Ok marlene are you really running Chicago next year?? its like a sign! I was thinking about running it...A guy at work ran it this year and has been trying to convince me to run it. Idk tho Im so scared to run a marathon! I still feel so inexperienced as a runner since I have only done a few halves.

Oh and please update your PRs on the side - seriously!
