Foto Friday

It would appear that I had my own personal photographer at the Toronto Marathon. Check out this photo shoot! I may not have been having the best day, but I (almost) always smile for a camera!

The Early Miles

The Middle Miles

The Later Miles

Have a great weekend!

You look AMAZING! I discovered in my marathon pictures that I run with my eyes closed, my form is a bit odd and I bob my head to the music :/ LOL I must be a sight for everyone out there.

so many pictures and you look amazing! seriously, i have a few smiling ones in the first miles, but after 20 i am grimacing and it is not pretty. you were able to suppress any pain or misfortune you were feeling. good work. oh, and that medal? if they do them that big EVERY year...i'm totally going to have to come up there sometime...

You look so good! Did you have a "thing" with the photographer? Kidding of course.
I have read all of Elin Hildebrands books. I like her quite a bit, partly because I have been here a few times and like envisioning the scenes.

Maybe they recongized Pinky? LOL.

I love that you are always smiling even in the tough runs.

Wow! That's a load of great race photos! You'd never know that race wasn't "your day" from the wonderful smiles you had for the camera. I hope that time will soften the less than great memories and leave you only with the smiles!
Have a great weekend.

Awesome pics! I definitely need to work on looking a little more presentable for the camera. I've actually being working on keeping my eyes up when I run because there are so many shots where it looks like my eyes are closed.

Julie D. said...

Look at you, those race photographers loved you!! :) awesome pics! You weren't kidding about the size of that bling!!!

Nicole @ Haute Runner said...

I am so jealous that you have so many race pictures!! Based on your expression in the pics, you look like you had a great day! It's great that you were able to smile for the camera even if you weren't feeling like yourself during the race.

LOVE the medal!!

Holy Toledo!

Thatsa lotta pictures from one race! And you're smiling in all of them....awesome. ;-)

I look forward to the day when I can have just *one* lousy race picture in which I am simultaneously smiling *and* actually look as if I am running instead of participating in a death march.

(sorry about the duplicate post....made an edit!)

funderson said...

Well how great do you look? How could they avoid taking your picture??

Every one of those photos is great; I totally feel like I was at the race.

kristen said...

that really is a huge medal.
I'm someone who tends to ruminate on bad races- so I promise the sting will wear off eventually. But if you are like me, you won't completely get over it until you get a little redemption. (though hopefully you're a faster healer than i am...)

WOW! Ok, how much did you pay the photographers for that awesome shoot? Tee hee hee. You look fabulous.
