Marlene, although this wasn't the outcome you wanted, you still kicked ass for 42.2. In the grand scheme of things, any opportunity to learn, grow and inspire folks has to be considered a win.Also, that medal is ridiculous. Awesome!

I had to take that medal off. It was hurting my neck! Great to see you on and after the course. We learn from every race and you will always get something from this past year's awesome training!

Mamma said there'd be days like this...Been couped up in a conference this week so I'm late on stuff...but I wanted to make sure I gave you an official congrats for your race on Sunday. You will have plenty of chances for a great day...but for this one...you stuck it out. And you looked great doing it. I couldn't help but post some of your pics on my blog (a few posts back).
