You still did all the training and you still finished another marathon (and 30 minutes faster than two years ago). Not every day can be a PB and the joy is in the journey.

That is one giant medal! Even if it wasn't the race you hoped for, you still put in some serious training, and finished another marathon. Great job.

Way to go Marlene! another Marathon under your belt! I had too many attempts like this, today I was 8 seconds shy from my PB :-) but I still had a good time.

oh my gosh, that medal is HUGE.

I think you did a great job. They can't all be PRs...

Marlene, although this wasn't the outcome you wanted, you still kicked ass for 42.2. In the grand scheme of things, any opportunity to learn, grow and inspire folks has to be considered a win.

Also, that medal is ridiculous. Awesome!

WOWZER! Giant bling is right! Great job!

Isn't it awesome? The half marathon is sitting beside my other medals and is dwarfing them. I really like the ribbon on it too.

Even if it wasn't your day, congrats on earning the gigantic bling!
